How are the control points calculated in the game?

Is it based on what you deploy on a node or a factor of what everyone deploys on that node?

This depends on what everyone deploys to any of the nodes.

Are you talking about for the bonus reward of winning?

The syn that gets the most nodes wins the battle and gets the bonus points. The amount of bonus points depends of how many points were scored by your syn as a whole.

This is not right at all.

I was under the impression that bonus points were figured on some sort of calculation that included points from all syndicates' deploys during the battle. I'm unsure of how exactly its calculated though.

And then there's the whole glitch (not a glitch) issue of people getting loads of points for just running ghost battles. Even more mind bottling. But the math whizzes on here will tell you it's easy to calculate.

If you win nodes, you earn a bonus equal to how many pts were deployed by all 3 syndicates on the nodes you won.
If you deploy 1M pts during the battle, your syn will earn 1M deploy pts. If you drop all those pts on 1 node and win it while the other 2 syns drop 500k pts each on that node, the bonus pts for winning the node is 2M. So your total score for the battle will be 3M.
