The swarm is coming! Is your guild ready with full slots and gear?

This raid boss is Air, so use your best Earth to defeat the menace. The Karanid's leave October 13th, so squish them before they leave.

I have most of my Earth gear ready. Since my guild is down a lot of members, I doubt we can even beat a lvl 3 or higher, but we still stay strong.

Luckily I fused Odin's yesterday. I had Druidic as my third armor, which isn't too bad, but Odin's is (slightly) better.

Thanks GREE for the extra damage. It however does not solve the main problem with special attack in raid bosses: that there is no decision making involved whatsoever. Just hit it everytime it's available. I can literally start the fight, lay down close my eyes and tap periodically on the corner of the screen. Exact same result as if I was watching the game.

The only thing I can think of upping special attack damage does is preventing people from starting a fight then go do something else for 1-2 minutes while the fight is running, since the extra damage from special attacks would have been less significant before.

The boss could periodically put up a defense that let's him take only half damage. You smash the defense with the special. You could still just tap away, but if the intervals are well tuned you'd do less damage than using the special at the right time and making sure not a single attack gets defended.

A variant of that could be replacing part of the misses with the boss putting up an inpenetrable wall, so you have to delay using your special for a round instead of using it and wasting it for no damage on the wall... That might be more intuitive than keeping your special to crush a wall that might be 1 or 10 turns away...

eh, id still just smash the corner of the phone with my finger until the battles over.
