View Full Version : Unfair gameplay by getting unlimited gems through video offers

Good morning/evening all,

recently, I've encountered some people claiming they were getting unlimited video offers and therefore could do top10 runs without paying any money for gems. You ask me HOW?! Well, I'll not perfectly explain how to, because this is NOT a tutorial. It is a complaint and I would like it if GREE fixes this.

The people I'm talking about are viewing unlimited video offers on rooted phones or on emulators such as BlueStacks. All they have to do is one-click a button, go to sleep and wake up with 500 more gems after a night without even bothering about their Phone or PC. (yes I've tested it, and it works)

They use third party apps like Xprivacy and Xposed to change their Phone Identification (which offer companies use to identify who and how many video offers they watch) after they force closed and re-opened the Knights and Dragons app. Using this method guarentees you unlimited video offers.

The thing they have to do next, is using another third party app. Just make a script (known as bots) which clicks on the buttons you have to click to watch those videos, force close and re-open the app. As you can see, all this goes automatically by one hit on a small button.

I would like GREE to take a look at this and somehow fix this. This method is unfair against people who pay tons of money to get an epic or to participate in top runs. Before we know, we see level 10 accounts with multiple "free" epics beating players who don't know about this method.
A cap on the video offers does not solve the problem as the button re-appears after a certain period. Another fact is that this method does not only applies to Knights and Dragons. All games made by GREE which use video offers to offer you free gems/money/diamonds are having this problem.

I've send a complete how-to support-ticket to GREE and hope this will be fixed soon.

PS: I've tested this on a new account and it got a Gold Chromatic, Arborsteel+ and DeMortuis+ from chests I've never payed for.
PS2: Maybe this method is known by GREE, but not fixed (well.. fixed with a video cap) because they make money from the amount of videos players watch?

Well since you openly admitted cheating yourself why doesn't gree ban you? Are you spilling your guts here because you can't get it to work anymore?

The thing is...they'll fix this and the cheaters will find another way to cheat. It's been like this since the game's release. It will never go away. Some cheats and hacks are worse than others, but in the end it doesn't matter. Those that cheat will continue to do so, and if their method is discovered they'll just find something else.
What's the saying? A lock only keeps honest people honest.

Just putting my $0.02 that I hate opinions like this. "Oh, you found an exploit that you'd like to report? MUST BE A STINKING CHEATER. BAN HIM MODS!!!" If someone finds an exploit and they're gracious enough to share it with the devs and ask that it be fixed, then guess what, they're doing you and everyone else a service. It'd be like if you walked up to your friend and said "Hey, you might wanna lock your door when you leave. Someone could break in through there and take your stuff." and your friend had you arrested because you obviously MUST have broken into his house at some point.

For actual content, thank you for reporting this exploit. Hopefully it'll get fixed soon, and then the cheaters will have to actually work a bit at a game they obviously don't care about.

I don't play this game, but this cheating should be stopped immediately....Moderators/Devs please take note of this.

Thank you for bringing this to the attention of us. I have escalated the issue and the implications to the Developers. Locking this thread for now.
